EARTH DAY & REFORESTATION

Reforestation is the natural or intentional restocking of existing forests and woodlands that have been depleted, usually through deforestation. Planting trees and improving global forestry is an important work and has the potential to restore land, benefit local communities and combat climate change. For a fact, poverty is linked to deforestation, and without taking into account and managing sectors as agriculture and forestry, it will be almost impossible to avoid the worst consequences of climate change.

Earth Day Network works with organizations all over the world that strengthen communities through tree planting. Using sapling and seed distribution, urban forestry, agroforestry, and tree care training, they have empowered rural and urban people alike to conserve, repair, and restore tree cover to their lands.

For every sale of product during Earth Day April 22, 2019 and throughout the week we will plant one tree together with the Canopy project.

  • 2018 – In memory of Gösta Schloenzig. This Earth Day we planted 100 new trees! Thank you for your support.
  • 2017 – Together we planted 10 new trees on our first Earth Day!

Together we make a difference!

PETA & SARAH'S CIRCLE

PETA's Sarah's Circle was created to recognize the outstanding commitment to PETA's work for animals by a special group of donors. The group is named after one of the first monkeys ever rescued by PETA from hideously cruel lab experiments.

We here at The Beauty Archive are member's of PETA organisation Beauty without Bunnies program and we annually make donations to their important work for the ethical treatment of animals.
